Bhailalbhai. K. Patell, 1980 batch fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, is the founder member of B. K. Patel & Co. Since over the 3 decades, he has obtained rich experience in almost every field of industry and commerce like Direct and Indirect Taxation, Auditing, Corporate Finance, Company Law, Trusts, Business Transformations, FEMA and Systems Development Activities. He handles all complex problems in above areas with equal ease but his core competency lies in understanding the client’s requirement and providing value addition management consultancy services by Transformation of Business and in Setting up New Industry.

He is the past president of Chartered Accountants Association, Ahmedabad, and All Gujarat Federation of Tax Consultants. He was the member of Study Group of Auditing Practice Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi, formed for the revision of Accounting Standards. He was member of National Executive Committee of All India Federation of Tax Practitioner. He is the past Chairman of Ahmedabad Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has been Chairman/Convener of various sub-committees of C.A. Association, Ahmedabad and ICAI. He was a visiting professor for under graduate and post graduate colleges of Gujarat University. He was a visiting faculty at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has presented many papers in seminars and conferences. He also involved in various social and charitable activities.

He has extensive experience in the field of direct taxation and audit. He has a commendable track record as an arbitrator in disputes and as a mediator in family settlement matters. He currently devotes a significant portion of his time in educating the downtrodden, but is equally active as a mentor to the younger members of the team. He has presented a number of papers in various journals and conferences and is a regular speaker in national and regional seminars.

Kantilal. D. Patel, 1987 batch fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India, has joined the firm as partner. His core competency lies in Management Consulting and Business Advisory Services, Corporate Laws, Auditing, Direct Taxes and, Project Consultancy. He has gone through Information System Audit (ISA) course conducted by the ICAI. He is the partner of the firm. He has been in practice since 1987 and has focused on Direct Taxes and Business Advisory Services, Project Consultancy.
